About the event

1700th Anniversary of the Council of Nicaea

Dr. Paul Gavrilyuk, eminent Orthodox theologian and holder of the Aquinas Chair in Theology and Philosophy in the Theology Department at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, will explore the main issues that continue to divide Catholic and Orthodox Churches, discuss the role of the Nicene Creed as the basis of our common faith, and propose a path to full communion. Q&A to immediately follow the lecture.
