Discover Bumblebees at The Road to Nature.

Join the Bumblebee Conservation Trust at Road to Nature for a day of getting to know bumblebees, with a chance of seeing one of Wales' rarest bumblebees the Shrill Carder bee!

We will start the day by introducing the common bumblebees found in South Wales, we will then follow up by looking at bees up close and explore some of the site areas that are being restored and managed for nature. We will also have the option of investigating bees up close with our partners Artstation using audio, poetry and music to explore the life of bees and their environment. Finishing up with free refreshments and a chance to ask questions.

This event is suitable for anyone, including complete beginners with a basic level of mobility. this is an outdoor event, so please expect uneven ground and unaccessible areas.

Parking can be found along Oystermouth Way and following the path along the reenside south and then west to the otter statues.

This event will be cancelled or postponed in the event of poor weather.

Please bring: suitable clothes for a half day in the field, including long trousers and weather-appropriate clothing and footwear and suncream if necessary.
