Sun Salutation Solstice Flows + Sound Healing with B1 Yoga

Grab your mat and celebrate the longest day of the year with TWO opportunities to practice outdoors at the Mines of Spain on Fri, June 20.

America's State Tree Woodland Walk (also known as the paved John & Alice Butler ADA Trail) will wind you through a beautiful native prairie to a scenic overlook. The in-ground circular compass at the end of this half-mile trail serves as the perfect setting for collective movement and meditation with B1 Yoga.

Both classes will feature sound healing with live music.

6:00 AM Sunrise Practice - Welcome the Summer Solstice with 50 sun salutations during this guided flow with a B1 Yoga Instructor. After class, sip and stay a while with a 12 oz. espresso drink from Good Stewards Coffee Co. (included with your registration). Look for their mobile cart at the picnic pavilion near the trailhead after class. Be sure to BYO travel coffee mug if you plan to take your coffee to-go.

6:00 PM Sunset Practice - End your week and honor the Solstice with a traditional "Yoga Mala" or 108 sun salutations. The B1 Yoga Instructor will guide you through this 90 minute class, which will challenge your endurance and tap into your prana -- your breath or life force energy. After class enjoy a craft cocktail or mocktail from Wicked River's new mobile bar cart (included with your registration). What a way to start the weekend!

B1 Yoga is located in the heart of downtown at 185 Main St. Their studio is home to over 15 different yoga instructors, with a variety of yoga classes and styles to appeal to the beginner all the way to the seasoned yogis.
