Enjoy this week’s casserole offering:
Turkey & Stuffing Casserole
**Ingredients subject to change based on availability.
Reheating Instructions:
If reheating the entire casserole, place in the oven at 375 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until it is 165 degrees in the center (or hot all the way through).
It can also be portioned out cold and then reheated in the microwave as individual portions.
DO NOT PUT CASSEROLE PAN IN THE MICROWAVE.
INGREDIENTS
For the casserole:
6 oz. boxed stuffing mix 1 - 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 ¼ C. hot water ⅔ C. diced onion
2 cups cooked, diced chicken (or turkey) ⅔ C. diced celery
2 tsp. garlic powder 1 C. chopped kale ½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sage
⅓ C. sour cream
½ C. water
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 casserole pan.
Mix the stuffing and 1 ¼ cups hot water in a bowl and set aside.
In the casserole pan, mix the chicken, onion, celery, green beans, seasonings, sour cream and soup, plus ½ cup water. Stir.
Top with the stuffing mix.
Cover and bake for 40 mins.
Remove from the oven, and let cool for a couple of minutes before enjoying!
