Join us @ the Cottage on August 1st as we celebrate Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, which is a pagan holiday celebrated on August 1st, marking the first harvest festival of the year. It is one of the eight Sabbats in the Wheel of the Year, following Midsummer and preceding Mabon. The name originates from the word "loaf" in reference to bread.
Join us as we welcome in this time of year as we bring to harvest our summer gardens and baking with local home grown goods.
We will be having home baked breads and butters, herb infused oils and refreshments.
And back by popular demand our featured artist of the night is Rachel Wilson who specializes in Henna Tattoo Art! She has been working with henna for almost 10 years. Her natural henna tattoos are all created free hand in various styles and sizes upon request. These beautiful designs can last up to 2 weeks on the skin!
Rachel will be set up to create personalized henna for you from 4-6pm
