Originally from Albany, Georgia, he moved to the UK in his late 20s to study at RADA and soon pivoted to comedy after a dare led to his first performance. He quickly rose through the British comedy scene, earning multiple Perrier Award nominations and acclaim for his bold Edinburgh Fringe shows.

Hunter has appeared on major UK TV shows like QI, Have I Got News for You, and Live at the Apollo, and fronted BBC documentaries such as Songs of the South. His unapologetic style cements his place as one of comedy’s most fearless and thought-provoking voices.
