The Education Studio is open for creative exploration from 10.30am-4.30pm, inspired by our exhibition, Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone. The Art of Friendship.
From 6 August to 9 August our Education Studio will be open to the public as a display of works created over the course of the Open Art Studio. This work has been created by visitors of all ages, abilities, and nationalities as they explored the unique perspectives and practices of abstract art.
Researched and developed by artist Eimear Murphy, the studio programme will offer hands on activities inspired by the artistic techniques and creative ideas of these foundational Irish Modernist artists. Gallery facilitators will provide support throughout the programme making the studio a dynamic environment, encouraging visitors to engage, experiment and make, while also providing space to reflect and connect with the themes of the exhibition.
