Join The Meditative Creative for a calming mandala-making journey at National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street on Wednesday, January 14th at 6 – 8PM for a soothing, reflective, and inspiring creative workshop.
In this gentle experience, you’ll explore how colour, pattern, and meditation can support mindfulness and self-expression, no art experience needed. Perfect for anyone who is looking to practice more mindfulness in 2026.
We’ll begin by introducing the idea of the mandala: a circular design used in many cultures as a tool for focus, reflection, and balance. You’ll then be guided through a relaxing visualisation meditation in the ornate Kildare Room to help you connect with colours, symbols, and messages that feel meaningful to you.
Using these insights, we’ll move step-by-step through how to design a mandala, with simple demonstrations, tips, and one-to-one support. You’ll choose your own colour palette and create a unique painted mandala at your own pace, in a space held with gentle mantra music and optional relaxing conversation.
In the final part of the workshop, we’ll come together for a short “show and tell” to share our finished pieces, followed by a closing meditation you can repeat at home with your mandala as a focal point. You’ll leave with your own hand-painted canvas, that you can display proudly, which will aid you in connecting to your creativity and calm at home in 2026.
All materials will be provided on site.
Workshop admission fee: €25.00
