TBBBC October Book Discussion

We're excited to announce our October event! 🥂

Join us at 7pm on Tuesday, October 21st at Bobby's Wine Bar, which will be exclusively ours for the evening! We'll be diving into our October read, The Wedding People, over a glass (or two... or three) of wine—soft drinks will also be available if you prefer.

Our events are all about relaxed, informal conversation - ✨ think getting together with the girls on a casual weeknight vibe ✨. No need for structured discussions or academic debates—just casual mingling among friends. A lot of people come alone (about 80% of attendees), so don’t worry if you’re flying solo; everyone is incredibly friendly and it’s a fantastic way to meet new faces. To help spark conversation, we’ll have printed discussion prompts on the tables with questions about the book and general icebreakers.

Tickets are €19.50 and include a glass of Prosecco (or a soft drink) upon arrival. You'll also have the option to purchase additional drinks throughout the night. We're excited to have the venue all to ourselves, making it a special experience just for us Bookish Babes! Your support means everything to us—TBBBC wouldn’t be the same without you!

Please note, attendance is restricted to those who have purchased tickets through Eventbrite as this is a private event. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate walk-ins.

We’ll be taking photos for promotional purposes during the event. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to us using these images on our social media channels. If you prefer not to be photographed, just let us know during the event.

REFUNDS:

Please note that each ticket purchase is final sale. We can ONLY offer a refund if your ticket is resold to another attendee. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept that if you are unable to attend, a refund may not be possible unless someone on the waitlist purchases your ticket. We appreciate your understanding!

1. Bring your copy of The Wedding People —we’d love to get a group shot with everyone and their books!
2. We’ll provide discussion prompts to help keep conversations flowing, so don’t worry if you’re unsure of what to say.
3. This is a relaxed, casual gathering where you can simply enjoy chatting with others.
4. Please remember this is an 18+ event due to venue rules.
