Fantasy Friday Knights

At 6 pm, join local authors Marli Welsh (author of Witchwood) and Daley Downing (author of The Order of the Twelve Tribes) to discuss fantasy writing, the worlds they created, and more. A Q&A and signing will follow.


Based in Dryden, New York, Marli Welsh writes dark fantasy romance set at the crossroads of magic, love, and consequence. She’s spent over a decade worldbuilding as a Dungeon Master and playing Dungeons & Dragons, a passion that fuels the depth and texture of her fiction. When she isn’t writing, Marli can be found watching anime, playing video games, or relaxing with her dog, Saturn.

Independent author of The Order of the Twelve Tribes low fantasy series and unrelated collections of short fiction, Daley Downing is also a chronic illness warrior, classically-trained dancer, parent to neurodivergent children, and cat whisperer. She endeavors to spend her time reading, writing, fiber crafting, and answering the eternal question of what to make for dinner.
