84th Annual Methvin Family Reunion

We were not able to reserve the Group Camp this year. Therefore, as announced last year, we have decided to hold it on Saturday, May 31st at the Lodge at Lake Bistineau State Park. When entering the park, you will turn to the right and follow the signs that say LODGE.
Overnight Guests: In the lodge, there are 2 rooms with 1 queen bed each and 2 rooms with 2 bunk beds each, along with 2 full bathrooms. In order to have the lodge for the entire day on Saturday, we had to rent it for both Friday and Saturday nights. If you would like to stay in the lodge, please let me know as soon as possible. The price will be $150 per room for both nights. It will be first come, first serve. Remember that if you are reserving rooms in the lodge, there will be people in and out of the bathrooms all day.
Cabins/RV Spaces: At last check, there are still cabins and RV spaces available through lastateparks.com, if you like a little more privacy and want to stay close!
Fishing: The Lodge sits right on the lake so feel free to bring your pole and fishing gear!
Chairs/Canopy: Because of moving the reunion to the Lodge, please bring your own chair as there are none provided! Also, if you have an extra canopy, please bring it!
Recipes: We are working on creating a new Family cookbook! Please bring your favorite family recipe to share! Or you can email your recipe(s) to

Donations: Do you own a business? Would you like to donate an item for Bingo? All donors will be recognized on our Facebook page as well as at the reunion. Please email or text me if interested in donating!
T-Shirts: T-Shirts must be ordered and paid for no later than May 15th. To order T-shirts, please send me an email (

Friday, May 30th
5:00pm – Check In
6:00pm – Open Grill – Bring your own burgers or hot dogs and fixings. A grill will be provided for you to use!
7:00pm – Board Games/Card Games – We’ll have a variety of classic and new games available! Or bring a game to share!
Saturday, May 31st
11:00am – Check In
12:00pm – Lunch (Bring your favorite dish to share, whether it’s a family recipe, a comfort food, or something new! We’ll have a variety of dishes to enjoy! The reunion will provide plasticware, napkins, plates, cups, tea, and water. If you want something else to drink, please bring it.)
2:00pm – Kids Live Auction (Bring a kid’s gift to be auctioned off – toys, games, etc.) – Get ready for an exciting event full of fun, laughter and great items just for kids! Join us for the Kids’ Auction, where young bidders can take part in a friendly and festive auction just for them! All money raised will go towards future reunions!
3:00pm – Auction (Bring a gift to be auctioned off in the adult auction – Vegetable/fruit baskets, homemade items, plants, etc.). The auction is how we raise money each year to pay for the reunion. So, we need lots of items to be auctioned off. Get ready to BID and don’t forget your Wallet!
4:00pm – Water Games – Get ready to beat the heat and make a splash at our exciting Water Games! Whether you’re competitive or just here to have fun, there’s something for everyone! Bring your swimsuit, towel and plenty of energy! We will have water balloon races, sponge relay races, water relay challenges and much more!
6:00pm – Sandwiches – Because of the huge lunch that we will have, and I am sure that we will have leftovers, bring your own sandwich fixings for supper!
7:00pm – Bingo – Come win some great prizes! We will play 10 rounds of bingo. You can purchase 10 Bingo cards for $15. Kids Bingo will be played at intermission for $1 per card.
