“Making time for Yin Yoga amongst our busy schedules can be the tonic we need to switch from stressed out to chilled out!!!” - Esther.
🌟 Why Choose Yin Yoga?
🤔 Do you feel tight and stuck in your body? If the answer is 'YES'.....?
Then Yin Yoga could be transformational for you....
👉 Why? .... Yin Yoga focuses on stretching out the yin tissues, "the deep hidden tissues", the connective tissue, fascia and ligaments surrounding the joints.
If they are super stuck, you can stretch your muscular body as much as you like, but your flexibility may not change, plus, you are setting yourself up for an injury!
It requires targeting and slowly opening the yin tissues to give your muscles space to move and elongate.
The pace teaches you a lot about the body: not just how small movements can change postures but how everything’s put together.
🚴🏃🏻♀️🏋🏻♂️ This makes it hugely beneficial alongside cycling, weight training, running, and other exercises that shorten the muscles.
Yin is a slow-paced style of Yoga, where postures are held for between three and five minutes.
To help you settle into the poses, your body is supported by props, allowing you to relax, breathe into the stretch, and let gravity work its magic.
👉 More benefits of joining:
* Reduces Back Pain
• Reduce Stress & Anxiety
• Promote Mindfulness
• Improve Joint Mobility
• Improve Flexibility
• Elongate & Stretch Tight Muscles
* Improves Sleep
In addition to the necessary breath work required to maintain postures for extended periods, yin yoga significantly enhances flexibility and joint mobility, contributing to your overall progress in all areas of life.
⚠️ WARNING – These sessions will leave you feeling totally Zen, and as you become more accustomed to it, you’ll start to feel the shift in your nervous system.
👉 Please wear warm, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, and I suggest not eating 90 minutes before class.
👉 All Levels welcome; ideal practice for complete beginners.
If you are unsure whether these sessions will be suitable for you, please don’t hesitate to call Esther for a chat at 416654.
I am always excited to welcome my dedicated students and friends back, as well as our new students, as they embark on their transformative yoga journey.
Sending my
Love❣️, Peace ☮️ & Gratitude 🙏
