We’re heading out for a day of tubing down the South Platte River in Tarryall! Get ready to float, relax in nature, and soak up some much-needed girl time.
We’ll meet at 8:30 AM at the D49 building near King Soopers (10850 E. Woodmen Rd, Falcon). Carpooling is encouraged—parking is limited, and the drive is about 1.5 hours from Falcon. I have space for four in my truck.
If you need to meet us there, aim for Happy Meadows Campground on CR 112 (first right after Lake George). Look for a black Ford Raptor—we’ll be setting up nearby, but it’s hard to give an exact location, so please follow us if you can. There’s no cell service, so signing up ahead of time is required—we don’t want to accidentally leave anyone behind!
We have six tubes, so we’ll take turns floating and hanging out. I’ll bring a small camping grill to cook burgers. Please use the SignUpGenius link to sign up to bring something for lunch—think burger toppings, chips, fruit, drinks, or dessert—so we can enjoy a full meal together.

Bring your water shoes, towel, sunscreen, hat, camping chair, something to drink, and a change of clothes. We’ll head back in the late afternoon, so plan for a full day of fun!
