Jennifer has been mesmerized by the healing abilities of henna. She mixes all the henna she uses herself, connects with the individual receiving, allows the energy to intuitively guide an artistic expression that is filled with meanings and messages that she can give some insight, and more importantly can be reflected on by the receiver for days or weeks.
There is a lot behind henna from its history, religious uses, medicinal uses, adornment uses, science, mixing, and more, all of which Jennifer has been studying through different outlets and is certified through the International Certification for Natural Henna Arts.
All of the henna Jennifer uses she mixes herself. Ingredients she uses are: Organic raj henna powder, spring water (rose or moon), lemon juice, sugar, and essential oils (lavender, cajaput, neroli, & eucalyptus).
In this Sacred Henna Experience Jennifer will go through the following areas:
History and cultural uses.
What henna is and how it's prepared.
Safety and how to use it properly.
Hands on practice design techniques.
Experiment with henna on yourself (or brave friend).
Do henna on a wood keepsake to take home!
Jennifer will also do henna for those who want!
Workshop will run for about 2 hours. Plan on staying a little later if you’d like to ensure that you get henna done by Jennifer!

Hogarty's Enchanted Forest is at 7 S Baltimore St, Dillsburg PA. Many GPS take individuals into Franklintown. Please note that this location is next to the light of the town square in the Dillsburg Borough.
