As summer winds down, join us for a slow morning stroll with pen in hand and nature all around.
Field Notes is a relaxed creative writing walk for grown-ups — no experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to notice the little things.
Please note: Due to Nova Scotia’s fire ban, our trails and woods are closed to the public. For this event, you’ll enjoy a slow, mindful walk through our lower meadow only, with a shaded tent on site for comfort.
Wander the meadow at Rove Acres and soak in the last of summer. We will have writing prompts available. Whether you’re journaling, scribbling a few thoughts, or just enjoying the quiet, there’s no right way to do it.
🎟️ Your $10 ticket includes:
Lower meadow access
Use of writing materials (or bring your own!)
Gentle prompts to spark ideas
A Wooden Word Token by Swing Set Studios
An envelope to take it all home
It’s the perfect way to mark the shift in seasons — slow, creative, and just for you. 💛
Come solo or bring a friend.
