Trailblazer Banquet

The Clement Railroad Hotel Museum’s annual Trailblazer Banquet is a distinguished event honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to civil rights and community advancement. Held in memory of Governor Frank G. Clement’s efforts in promoting civil rights, the banquet celebrates equality and recognizes those who have worked towards building a better community. Past recipients of the Trailblazer Award have included retired railroad workers, educators, medical personnel, and NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson.  

The upcoming banquet is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2025, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. The event will take place at 201 Center Avenue in Dickson, Tennessee.  

Tickets are priced at $40 and can be purchased online through the museum’s gift shop, by phone at 615-446-0500, or in person at the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum. 

This annual banquet not only honors the legacy of Governor Clement but also serves as a platform to celebrate and acknowledge the ongoing efforts of individuals dedicated to civil rights and community service.
