The Catcher In The Rye

Project Pothchola, an initiative of the Give Bangladesh Foundation, invites visitors into a world most people never have the chance to see. Here, the voices of children who grew up in red-light areas come forward through their art. Their circumstances forced them to grow up quickly, yet they have held on to a sense of curiosity and wonder that continues to shape their imagination.

Your visit matters more than you may realize because it tells these young artists that their dreams, and their place in this world, deserve attention. It shows them that people are willing to look beyond the labels and see them.

We invite you to come in and spend time with these stories. Because each drawing comes from a child who hoped someone would pause long enough to listen. Join us and stand with them simply by showing up.
