The 9th Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics is finally here!
This national chapter of the prestigious scientific olympiad, International Olympiad for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA), is organized by Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (BDOAA). It is a non-profit organization that not only hosts the regional and national segments but organizes workshops and events for the popularization of Astronomy and Astrophysics, gives career guidance to aspiring astronomers, and has been sending students to IOAA every year since 2018.
The event will have two exciting segments- The Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad and The Astro Poster Making Competition.
✨Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad :
This Olympiad is one of the most anticipated olympiads of our country, where you are tested on your knowledge about the vast universe. The olympiad will be according to international standards and will assess your problem-solving skills to uncover the secrets and mysteries of the cosmos.
The students will first participate in the regional rounds, from where the top performers will advance to the nationals round in Dhaka.

🌟Astro Poster-Making Competition
The Astro Poster-Making Competition is your chance to bring a scientific story through visuals- either on your own or with your team of 3 members. Participants will submit their posters online during the Preliminary Round from where top posters will be selected to be displayed in the national round. The best teams will be chosen during the Nationals and get the recognition as 'National Winners'.

3. Black holes and their mysteries
4. Role of AI in astronomy
5. Formation and Evolution of Galaxies
6. Any other topics related to astronomy and astrophysics
