In an effort to restore ecological balance and strengthen the university’s green heritage, Dhaka University Environment Society (DUES) is proud to organize the largest native tree plantation program ever held at the University of Dhaka.
This landmark event will focus on planting native fruit-bearing and ecologically significant trees across the campus grounds, residential halls, and student hostels, aiming to revive our connection with indigenous biodiversity.
Key Highlights:
Plantation of over 300 native trees including mango, jackfruit, Native Lemon, amloki, and others.
Collaborative planting with hall provosts, DU administration, faculty members, and students.
Educational briefings on the importance of native species in sustainable urban ecosystems.
