Freshmen Debate Competition (FDC) - Summer 25

Debate is more than just a battle of words—it is a vibrant platform where ideas thrive, perspectives broaden, and critical thinking takes root. As a structured form of dialogue, debate equips individuals with the ability to analyze complex issues, craft persuasive arguments, and express their views with clarity and confidence. Within this arena, participants don't just defend positions—they develop the crucial skills of active listening, strategic rebuttal, and respectful engagement with differing opinions.

To foster these indispensable abilities, the Debating Forum of IUBAT (DFI) is excited to announce its flagship event—the Freshmen Debate Competition for Summer 2025. This semester, DFI will be hosting a day-long English British Parliamentary Debate exclusively for freshers from Spring 25 and Summer 25.
