In a world bound by faith, fear, and limits, Faustus dares to want more- and more he gets, through a pact with the devil that offers everything but demands the one thing he cannot reclaim. The wicked as his entourage, Faustus bends the laws of nature; he tastes forbidden knowledge. But as time goes on, power turns into destruction, and knowledge into noise. What remains is the unbearable awareness that no force condemns Faustus more fiercely than himself.
