Get ready for one of Bangladesh’s most exciting STEM experiences!
The SIC CanSat Crew, in collaboration with the UIU Mars Rover Team, is going to organize a Day-long Workshop about Build Your Own Satellite (CanSat), which will be held on 3rd January 2026 (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at United International University (UIU).
This full-day, hands-on program is designed to introduce students to real-world space engineering through the exciting process of building, coding, launching, and analyzing their own miniature satellite model known as a CanSat.
A CanSat is a fully functional miniature satellite built inside the size of a soda can. Students learn real satellite engineering by working with sensors, electronics, programming, data transmission, and mission design — all in one day!
What Students Will Learn
- Introduction to CanSat & Space Science
- Designing Satellite Structure & Components
- Assembly & Integration with Sensors
- Coding, Telemetry & Real-Time Data Transfer
- Field Launch (Water Rocket / Drone)
- Data Recovery, Graph Reading & Presentation
Every participant will complete the full engineering cycle — from planning to launch to analytics.
