Welcome to Touch Some Grass Season 2, presented by Botrish. Get ready for an exciting intra-batch futsal tournament that will bring out the best in our 32nd batch. Gather your teams, hone your skills, and compete for glory!
Join us for the “Intra-Batch Futsal Tournament, Touch Some Grass", where teams from our 32nd batch will compete in an exciting 5-a-side futsal tournament. With intense matches, skilled players, and a vibrant atmosphere, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
Date: 18/07/2025
Venue: JAFF, Bashundhara
Tournament Structure:
There will be 8 mens' teams.
There will also be 2 womens' teams.
Match Duration:
1. Group Stages: 6 Minutes Per Half, 1 Minute Break
2. Knockout Stages: 7 Minutes Per Half, 1 minute Break
Format:
1. Groups: 2 groups of 4 teams each (Group A and Group B)
2. Matches: Round-robin format within each group. Each team plays every other team in their group once.
3. Qualification: The top 2 teams from each group based on points will advance to the semi-finals.
4. Semi-finals: 2 winning teams will compete in the finals
Prizes
1. Champion: Trophy + Medals for the team
2. Women’s Champion: Trophy + Medals for the Team
Individual Awards
1. Best Goalkeeper Award
2. Top Scorer Award
3. Best Defender Award
4. Player of the Tournament Award
5. Best Manager Award
Rules and Regulations:
1. Only football turf and running shoes are allowed. Barefooting and wearing boots are not allowed.
2. The referee's decision is final.
3. Respect all decisions made by the organizers.
4. Teams must report 30 minutes before their match.
5. Any team not showing up on time will forfeit the match.
6. All FIFA rules will be followed except offside.
7. Kick-ins are to be taken. Goals from direct throws or goal-kicks are not allowed.
8. Two yellow cards will result in a red card.
9. A red card will allow suspension from that match.
10. If a match ends in a draw, there will be no penalties in the group stage, but if a match in the knockout stage ends in a draw, it will go straight to penalties.
11. In cases where two or more teams have an equal number of points, the goal difference will be taken into account. If the goal difference is also the same, in that case, the head-to-head result will be taken into account. In case head-to-head result is also same, then it will go to peanalties.
12. In case of confusion and no proper decision, On field moderators will make the final call, and that will be the final decision.
