The AIUB English Club proudly presents IGNITE: The Voice of Change, an inter-departmental presentation contest open to all AIUB students.
This is not just another competition. This is a platform for your ideas, stories, and vision for a better tomorrow. We are looking for teams who can craft powerful narratives and present them with the conviction to inspire action.

The Four Pillars of Change:
Your team's idea must fall under one of these four broad categories. Choose the one that best fits your passion:
1. Technology & The Future: Explore innovations that will shape our future, from AI ethics to creating smarter cities.
2. Creativity & Culture: Pitch ideas that celebrate our heritage, empower local artists, or use art and design to solve problems.
3. Personal Growth & Well-being: Share concepts that promote mental health, resilience, and a balanced, purposeful life.
4. Society & Community: Propose solutions that build stronger communities, foster inclusion, and encourage active citizenship.

Day 1: Workshop – Crafting Narratives for Impact.

Day 2: Preliminaries – 2-minute pitch (judges’ selection).
DATE: 18/AUG/2025 & 19/AUG/2025

This is where your journey begins. Your team will deliver a fast-paced, high-energy 2-minute pitch to a panel of judges. Your goal is to capture their attention and convince them of your idea's potential. The best and brightest pitch will be chosen to move to the Grand Finale.
Day 3: Grand Finale – 3-minute presentation + 2-minute Q&A for the title!
DATE: 24/AUG/2025
VENUE: AIUB AUDITORIUM (BUILDING D)
The top teams will take the main stage to compete for the title of Champion. Each team will get a 5-minute slot:
• 3 Minutes for your main presentation: Expand your initial pitch with more detail, research, and powerful storytelling.
• 2 minutes for a live Q&A: Defend your idea and showcase your expertise as you field questions directly from the judges.
🏆Prizes & Recognition
Champion Team: Crests and Certificates of Championship.
Runner-up Team: Crests and Certificates of Achievement.
Finalist Teams: All finalists will receive Certificates of Recognition for their outstanding performance.
All Participants: All registered participants will receive E-Certificates of Participation
📌 Rules & Guidelines
● Team Formation: You must compete in a team with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members. Team members can be from any department.
● Registration: All teams must register online before the deadline.
● Time Limits: The 2-minute (prelims) and 5-minute (finale) time limits are strict and will be enforced.
● Originality: All ideas must be the original work of the team members.
● Judging: Teams will be judged on the clarity and impact of their idea, the quality of their storytelling, the smartness of their delivery, and their performance in the Q&A session.
