Come and join the Committee, and help the Band be a vibrant musical community group well into the future.
These are the positions available. Some positions do not require attendance at meetings, so have a look and consider if there is a way you would like to help support the Band.
President - chairs meetings & officiates at events.
Vice President - when President not available
Secretary - administrator (emails and other correspondence)
Minute writer - minute writer
Treasurer - financial reports (includes being Public Officer)
Grant Writer - grant writer
Patron - a public figure that promotes the Band in the Devonport community
Musical Director - Community band
Musical Director - Development band
General Committee – participates in meetings
Junior Rep - A representative for members under the age of 18
Music Librarian - organises music.
TBL Rep. - quarterly meetings, TBL competition entries, Eisteddfod entries
Custodian - monitoring upkeep of facilities (e.g., maintenance and cleaning)
Registrar - memberships and instrument register
Media Officer - Facebook, newspaper articles etc.
Contact Person - initial phone contact for new members, play outs & hall hire.
