I'll try to demystify this technique, which creates a lovely squashy, comfy-cosy fabric that you can use for just about anything from handwarmers to jumpers. Pick up the basics and we can move on to two-colour brioche if you are ready and would like to.
The cost of £25 includes practice yarns, written notes, tuition and yes, lovely refreshments. Bring some knitting needles with you - any size you like really (from 3.25mm up to 6mm) as I'll have a selection yarns available for you to try and some circular needles for you to borrow should you get on to two-colour. You'll also get a discount voucher for Pins & Needles so you can treat yourself to the yarn of your choice when you are ready to start a project. I'll include a simple pattern for a hat to start you off.
Venue is upstairs at Caffe Vialottie (used to be Times Square) in the Market Place, Devizes, starting at 1.30pm sharp until they kick us out at closing time about two a half hours later.
If you came on the Woolly Weekender/Woolly Day Out in 2023, it's the same workshop, you are still very welcome to join in if you'd like a refresher or a social.
Skill level - you need to be able to knit, purl, cast on and cast off.
There are no actual tickets to be sent out so you can just choose "collect" when you checkout.
Cancellations: If I have to cancel, you'll be refunded in full, with an opportunity to buy the kit if you wish. If you cancel, sorry but I'll only be able to issue a refund if the event is full and I can re-sell your space (an an opportunity, if wished, to keep the kit).
