Cleanup Programs in the Park at Van Antwerp Park

Join us every Thursday afternoon at Van Antwerp Park for a mix of fun, learning, and community care! Each week brings something new—yoga, arts & crafts, nature-based learning, environmental education, and more—all while helping to keep the park clean and welcoming.

No experience needed—we’ll provide supplies for cleanup activities and light refreshments. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to connect, create, and enjoy time outdoors.

This event is part of Our Backyard Detroit (OBD) a program from Green Living Science that empowers Detroit residents to activate and care for neighborhood parks through cleanup days, community events, and youth leadership.
