Camp Description:
Embark on a creative adventure this summer with Creative Journeys, a hands-on art series designed to inspire and challenge young artists! Students can sign up for all four days or choose either of the two-day sessions, each offering unique projects that explore different artistic techniques, from intricate patterns to vibrant mosaics and expressive prints.
✨ June 23 & 24
🎨 Mini Mosaic Masterpieces – Design and create your own colorful mosaic! Students will plan their own unique design and piece together small tiles to form a vibrant work of art. This hands-on project explores color, pattern, and composition while bringing their vision to life, one tile at a time.
🖊️ Posca Pattern Pages – Create bold, intricate designs using vibrant Posca markers! Inspired by the meditative qualities of Zentangles, students will craft larger, more dynamic patterns filled with color and detail. Each finished piece will be beautifully matted, turning their designs into stunning, frame-worthy artwork.

⚫ Circle Illustrations: Exploring Line & Detail – Create a captivating illustration within a circular frame, focusing on the power of line! Students will experiment with different types of lines and line weights to add depth and movement to their artwork. They can choose to keep their design as a bold black-and-white ink drawing or enhance it with color for added impact.
🖌️ Gelli Printing with Design – Experiment with the art of gelli printing, layering colors and textures to create a unique, multi-dimensional print. Students will explore various printing techniques to add depth and meaning to their work, resulting in a one-of-a-kind expressive piece.
