THE SCHOOL BUS WORLD BOOK DAY FUND 2026:
This is an initiative created by Little Acorns Bookstore to extend the opportunity and allow access for more Primary Schools and National Schools, based in the North-west of Ireland, to visit the bookshop for special World Book Day celebrations and redeem their World Book Day voucher for their free book, plus complimentary bookmarks, stickers and a tour and chat about reading and books, during the month of March 2026.
Schools are having to pay from their own limited funds, or have no budget, to hire private transport which can range from £100 -£200 depending on distance and size of vehicle.
This fund is set up to ease the financial stress of schools missing out and for all students to experience the joy of reading, sharing stories and books in a physical setting.
Anyone wishing to become a donor (individual or as a business) we'd love to hear from you!
