The Workshop will consist of 2 hours of open work and partner work; exploring how to incorporate shines and musicality into your social dancing.
This will be followed by an hour for practise and individual personalised feedback.
1st hour - SHINES ✨IN PARTNER WORK
Ever felt terrified when your partner lets you go to dance solo during a social dance?!
We’ve all been there!
We will be exploring open shines in partner work, whilst building your confidence to perform shines when you’re in a social dance setting.
Leads and followers timing will be broken down for you, with tips and support.
Get to know where to start and what to do, build your repertoire and get shining away with a smile on your face!
2nd hour - MUSICALITY 🎶 IN PARTNER WORK
Have you ever looked on in awe as you watch other dancers hit breaks in the music, with the smallest of movements, that look so great?!
If so, this workshop is for you!
We will be introducing basic musicality into partner work; listening for different instruments in the music and how to find and hit the breaks and accents.
Take your social dancing to another dimension, embrace musicality and hit those breaks!
