Please join us for a magical evening on the historic grounds of Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff! Presented by LeChase Construction, the third annual Summer Solstice Garden Party: Under Construction is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6-9:30pm.
As our new Visitor Center construction progresses, join us for our signature event voted "Best of WNY" by Buffalo Spree in 2024! We are embracing the construction activity and celebrating the transformation of our remarkable property.
It is believed that Frank Lloyd Wright intentionally designed the corner window in the "view room" of Graycliff's main house to perfectly frame the setting sun during the summer solstice—a breathtaking phenomenon that occurs just once a year. We are thrilled to welcome you to witness this extraordinary intersection of nature, light, and Wright's visionary design during the most enchanting evening of the year.

Tickets are $90, and Graycliff Members able to purchase tickets for $75 when logging into their account.
Become a special supporter with our Patron Pair package for $500, which includes two tickets to the event, two complimentary drink tickets, and recognition as an event supporter (please purchase by June 6th to be properly recognized as a supporter)
Early bird tickets are available through May 15 and will include a complimentary specialty solstice cocktail (while supplies last). This is a 21+ event.
This year, we encourage guests to paint the party in sunset hues! Deck yourself out in yellows, oranges, and pinks as we all 'dress like the sunset.' For footwear, we recommend comfortable sneakers or flat shoes instead of heels—they're not only the perfect companions for exploring our gorgeous grounds but also help protect our beautifully restored Red Tidewater Cypress wood floors inside the historic house (where stiletto heels are not permitted). Comfort meets style as you enjoy this magical evening in sunset-inspired creative cocktail attire!
Your ticket includes food, live music, and access to explore Graycliff's main house featuring a fine art auction, with cash bars available all evening. Due to construction, on-site parking isn't available this year—please use Highland Elementary School (just 5 minutes away) where complimentary shuttles will run throughout the event.
Please note that this event is rain or shine. In the event of rain, a tent, umbrellas, and ponchos will be made available to guests. While sunset-inspired cocktail attire is encouraged, we also recommend that you dress for the weather. We will still be toasting to the setting solstice sun, even in the rain.
The third annual Summer Solstice Garden Party at Graycliff is presented by LeChase Construction with media support from Buffalo Spree and additional support from the Audrey and Lawrence Silverstein Foundation, Delaware North, Hodgson Russ, The Hooper Legacy Foundation, The OSC Charitable Foundation, The National Fuel Foundation, West Herr, John W. Danforth Company, Advanced Alarm, Turner Construction, and Gypsum Systems Management, Inc.
All proceeds from the Summer Solstice Garden Party provide important operational funds to support Graycliff Conservancy's mission, which is centered around the preservation of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed structures and grounds, along with the Ellen Biddle Shipman-designed gardens and landscape, that comprise Graycliff, the summer retreat of Isabelle & Darwin Martin.
