Teen Rex – What’s Next? An Evening with Dr. Tyler Lyson, Natalie Toth, and Alex Polich

Teen Rex is turning one year old – so come out and celebrate with us as we look at what’s next for this incredible discovery!

In June of 2024, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science announced the exciting discovery of a juvenile T-rex found by three boys while out looking for fossils. Over the last year, Associate Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology Dr. Tyler Lyson, Chief Preparator Natalie Toth, and Fossil Preparator Alex Polich have been busy cleaning and studying the fossil skeleton. These scientists will give you an update on what has happened over the past year, what they hope to find when they return to the locality in July, and what they hope it will tell us about the life and death of T-rex. We’ll also have a chance to take an up-close look at the work in the Teen Rex prep lab – so get your tickets now before it’s too late!
