Stage Performance Workshop: Moving on Stage

Incorporating stage movement into your show can help you convey meaning and emotion, emphasize the musical elements and messages within your songs, and connect and communicate with your audience. But it’s important to do so in a way that supports rather than distracts from your performance. Attend this workshop to demystify effective stage movement, and learn when and how to use motion and gestures to make your performance more powerful and professional.

We will cover:
- Using Angles and Zones
- Moving and Walking
- What Do I Do With My Hands?

You will practice your new-found skills and build your confidence with guidance and feedback from Justin Long, co-author of the forthcoming book "A Show with a Capital S," and member of a band that currently sells 300-500 tickets to every local show.
