salon nocturne - Spring for Darklings

Salon Nocturne will occur every 3rd Sunday from 5pm to 10pm Beneath The Thin Man & St. Mark's in the Ubisububi room.

Every month will feature...
a new topic with guest speakers
an open stage for poetry and other readings
a new book to discuss
a suggested style of dress - Goth or otherwise
prizes and trinkets for fun and amusement
a space for conversations, small card games/chess and embroidery and small art/crafts

For May...
We'll be talking about spring planting and have the opportunity to ask questions about how best to care for our leafy friends...
We'll be reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
We'll be dressing up inspired by Toxic Plants.

Evening Schedule...
From 5pm to 7ish we'll be casually dropping in and having great conversations... the stage will be open for readings, song singing or even jokes...
We'll have our guest speaker at 7:30pm and the conversation on our book will start just after 8:30pm. Plenty of time for conversations, drifting up for food or drinks throughout the evening. This is a casual event, no worries over feeling late.

These events are 18+ [those under 21 will be asked to use the St. Mark's entrance]. $5 cover [$1 of which will be going to a local charity].
