Come hang with us and you can still do your fireworks and family stuff in the evening if that’s your thing.
It's a family-friendly event with lots of activities, so bring the whole crew.
Bring a blanket and any park toys you like and let's celebrate how much we rely on each other, how our neighborhood heroes past and present keep us safe and inspired, and how truly interconnected we all are.

• 10am (optional, but you should try it out!) herbalist walk with magical medicine man, Monticue Connally.
• DJ STV keeping us groovy.
• Poetic performance from Molina Speaks.
• Celebration of local heroes with special artwork by Jolt from Guerilla Garden.
• Henna from Eyni and Urji.
• Games and activities for all-ages.
• We invite everyone to bring in names of people (past, present, and future) who show us how caring for one another builds and keeps our communities strong.
(If you hate hanging out and just want to see the awards and the performances, the 11am-12:30pm zone is going to be more your jam)
The consensus last year was that this was one of the most uplifting and joyous celebrations most people have attended. Just come if you can!
