Come and learn to sew / improve your sewing skills in my Tuesday evening lessons.
These lessons are ideal for any standard, from a complete beginner to someone wanting to improve. You will need to bring your own sewing machine and sewing kit.
My lessons are relaxed and you work at your own pace. All levels of sewing are covered and, as yet, I have not come across a technique I am unable to teach. There will be plenty of laughter and chatter involved, so please bring a
sense of fun.
Lessons are Tuesdays, 6:30pm to 9pm, in the IT Room at St John’s Community Centre, Church Street, Penistone. Bring yourself a mug, as there is free tea, coffee and biscuits.
St Johns is fully accessible and has ramps, wide door access and also boasts plenty of free off-road parking.
These lessons are ideal if you have a large project on the go, wanting to cut out a garment, or sandwich your quilt as there is plenty of room.
