BMC Peak Area Hill Walk Snailsden Edge from Dunford Bridge

BMC members and those interested in the BMC’s work are invited to join a peer-led walk hosted by BMC Peak Area volunteers with local BMC volunteer Peter Judd guiding the route. Peter is a qualified Mountain Leader and also BMC Access rep. for parts of the Dark Peak. Booking is essential.

The walk begins alongside Winscar Reservoir before visiting high moorland. All being well we’ll visit 3 trig. points, 2 of them being 2 of the more remote Ethels (Dead Edge End and Snailsden Pike End) and 2 further reservoirs.The walk is 17km (10.5 miles) long with 380m (1,250 ft) of ascent. Sorry, no dogs.
