Made up of members from Tom’s concert-level Eagles, Bob Seger, Allman Brothers and Yacht Rock tribute bands (including Ken Hurley, singer with both Bob Seger and Allman Brothers tributes) plus Mr. Eric Bindman on electric violin and the incomparable Sista Mary Beth with her Bonnie Raitt-like vocals, this soulful/bluesy 7-piece band is musically and visually interesting and entertaining. In addition to a few songs each from Eagles, Bob Seger and Allman Brothers…you will hear some Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Blind Faith plus some modern & outlaw country songs from Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Chris Stapleton, Zak Browne, Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam and more!

STRAY DOGS is many things: it’s a group of musical friends who have played hundreds of shows together, its Allman Brothers in a scaled down but authentic way, it’s the best of Bob Seger and The Eagles, its “Superstition” in a way that would make Stevie (and Stevie) proud, its The Band, Skynyrd, Blind Faith and Marshall Tucker…its the Outlaw Country of Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels and others and the modern country of Chris Stapleton, Zak Brown and others done in an authentic way thanks to the southern gospel influence on Ken Hurleys vocals…..add some beautiful electric violin and the wonderfully raspy vocals of Sista Marybeth to those country tunes and you have something really special. Add some Stray Dog-infused versions of some familiar classic rock and blues songs you love…with really good musicianship and vocals you don’t often get to hear from a local band…and you have one heck-of-a show!
Mostly, it’s a group of like-minded musicians who can play anything (and do/have) but LOVE to play this…and it shows!!!
