De Chai Nights zijn concerten op de vrijdagavond in het Regenerate Station. We komen samen om overheerlijke chai te drinken en te genieten van live muziek. Want wie wilt er nou niet ontspannen aan het eind van de week? Naast ontspanning nodigen de muziek en de hemelse kruiden van de Chai je wellicht uit voor een dansje!
Elke chai night is er een andere muzikale artiest die hun kunsten vertoont! De muzikant van deze week is ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐!

The Medicine of Sound is een multidisciplinair project gecreรซerd door Renรฉ Nรกjera, met als missie om muziek in te zetten als een hulpmiddel voor heling en collectief welzijn. Renรฉ is sinds jonge leeftijd toegewijd aan muziek en heeft basgitaar, gitaar en zang gestudeerd. Hij heeft een carriรจre opgebouwd als instrumentalist in jazz, funk, rock, Latijns-Amerikaanse muziek en moderne stijlen. Renรฉ is gecertificeerd door het Sound Healing Institute als klanktherapeut en gongmeester. In 2010 volgde hij zijn eerste vipassana-meditatieretraite, wat een grote impact op zijn leven had en zijn focus als muzikant veranderde. Hij begon met het verkennen van "khommei"-zang (harmonische/overtonale zang) als een middel tot zelfinzicht, in combinatie met mindfulness, terwijl hij ook etnische muziekinstrumenten en meditatie onderzocht.

The Chai Nights are Friday evening concerts at the Regenerate Station. We come together to enjoy delicious chai and live music. Who doesn't want to relax at the end of the week? Besides relaxation, the music and the heavenly delicious spices of the chai will likely invite you for a dance.
Every chai night, a new musical artists shares their magic with us. This week's musician is ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐!

The medicine of sound is a multidisciplinary project created by Renรฉ Nรกjera, who has the mission of sharing music as a tool for healing and collective wellbeing. Renรฉ has been dedicated to music since his young, studying bass, guitar, and singing. He has a career as an instrumentalist of jazz, funk, rock, latin music, and contemporary styles. Renรฉ is certified by the sound healing institute as a sound therapist and gong master. In 2010, he carried out his first vipassana meditation retreat, which had a great impact on his life and changed his focus as a musician. He began exploring "khommei" chant (harmonic/overtone singing) as a tool for self-knowledge, in combination with mindfulness, while exploring ethnic musical instruments and meditation.

Practical point: we have a lot of (meditation) pillows available to sit on, but perhaps not enough for everyone. You may consider bringing your own meditation pillow or small chair.
