Marquee Lighting Ceremony

✨ Join Us for a Historic Night at The Strand! ✨ We’re lighting up East Winter Street for a celebration you won’t want to miss.

🎶 5:00 PM – Music & Street Festivities Begin East Winter Street will be closed for an evening of community fun! Enjoy a hot cocoa bar and cookies from Fresh Start. We’ll also have our Strand merch stand open, including vintage marquee letters & symbols and cozy sweatshirts.

🎤 5:30 PM – Dedication Ceremony Hosted by Delaware Mayor Carolyn Kay Riggle.

💡 5:45 PM – First Lighting of the Full Marquee & Blade a historic moment led by our managing director, Tracey Peyton. Come be part of the glow!

🚧 6:30 PM – Festivities Wrap Up & Street Reopens

🎬 7:00 PM Community Movie Night: We’ll be showing three FREE classic movies (It's a Wonderful Life, The NeverEnding Story & Back to the Future)
