Glass is a stunning medium, and when you combine your favorite colors and even add texture, you can craft one-of-a-kind pieces of art that will brighten your home for years to come. Glass fusing is the art of layering glass and firing it in the kiln to permanently join the design and give it texture and shape.
This class is designed for families of any shape or size to get together for a fun experience for all ages. It involves designing a multi-paneled mosaic suncatcher over the course of 2 hours. One large 4" x 12" panel hangs horizontally with 5 smaller panels (2" x 6", 2" x 8", 2" x 10", 2" x 8", and 2" x 6") hanging beneath it. The goal will be to, as a family, design all 6 panels as a group to create one cohesive hanging glass sculpture!

Please note: This class is for beginners to learn the basics – no experience is necessary and all tools are provided. This is a family friendly class, with tools that can typically be mastered by kids ages 10 and up. Kids younger than 10 will be successful with help from their family, and some family members may choose to build from the small pieces instead of cutting their own. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. All persons attending must pay the class fee. Your piece will be ready approximately 7-10 days after your class. We will notify you by call or text when your piece is ready to be collected.
