Meet Coach Sophie, learn more about the Youth Equestrian Development Association (YEDA), and see if this awesome program is right for your rider!
⸻
🐴 What is YEDA?
YEDA (Youth Equestrian Development Association) is a team-based equestrian program that allows riders from 4th–12th grade to compete in Western horsemanship and reining without owning a horse. Riders are judged on their horsemanship skills, not the horse, which levels the playing field and makes the program accessible and skill-focused.
At competitions, riders draw a horse from a pool provided by the show hosts and are judged based on how well they ride and handle that horse. It’s a fantastic way to grow as a rider, be part of a team, and gain confidence in and out of the saddle.
My 13-year-old daughter Addy joined two years ago and has loved it. It’s been a great way to develop her riding skills, make friends, and be part of something meaningful!
✨ If your child loves horses and wants to grow in their riding journey, this is a perfect opportunity to learn more!
Let us know if you’re interested or planning to come.
