Beginning Jewelry

In this beginner jewelry-making class, you’ll learn the core fundamentals of metalsmithing over three Monday sessions, while creating a small collection of finished pieces in sterling silver. Students will fabricate a band ring, a bezel-set stone pendant, and a set of bangle bracelets—building skills step by step while adding personal design details along the way.
You’ll learn essential techniques including measuring, forming, soldering, and finishing, with plenty of individual guidance and room for creative expression. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to work with your hands.
