Work Day at Dunning Springs

Decorah Rotary Club, Decorah Human Powered Trails, and Decorah Parks and Recreation are teaming up to replace several lost trails and create a better visitor experience at Dunning's Spring Park. This new trail for walkers, hikers, and trail runners will be safer and easier to navigate than some existing options.

All are welcome to join the work day. Please bring water, work gloves, mosquito and black fly repellent, and appropriate footwear. DHPT will supply tools but if you have a favorite rake or snipper you're welcome to bring your own.

Park at the gravel Dunning's lot near the start of River Trail off of Quarry Street / Ice Cave Road and walk up the Dunning's driveway to the main viewing /meeting area.
