Joy of Birding talk with Ram
Come join an informative, free birding talk led by Ram. The Joy of Birding is a lunchtime learning experience on Thursday, May 29th at 11am! Come join-no registration necessary.

This talk is a gentle introduction to the hobby of Bird Watching. Perfect for first-time birders, or those who like to learn more about the avian species. Topics covered: what it takes to be a birder, startling facts about birds, why we care about birds, studies in mental health benefits associated with this hobby, an overview of bird anatomy, bird song, and bird conservation. We will review apps and resources help us practice mindfulness and learn at the same time.
