Whole Body Core at the Barre Teacher Trainingwith Elizabeth Silas, E-RYT-YA, CYT-IAYT, NPCP-PMC
In one weekend, integrate new approaches from dance, Pilates, resistance training, and yoga into your classes and private sessions.
Learn how to spice up your teaching with:
-creative variations on traditional core Pilates movements, inspired by mat and machine work
-isolations and isometrics from modern, ballet, and jazz dance--targeted moves, not complicated choreography
-mobility/strength awareness and preparations for arm balances and inversions of yoga
-strength and bodyweight resistance, plus ways to turn it up to cardio interval training when you wish
-small, targeted movements that PRE-hab your body to prevent injury—because none of us should wait for injury or rehab to do these preventative and corrective moves!
Practice sequencing segments in ways that your students need and will love. Work with what you already teach (yoga, dance, Pilates, gymnastics, group fitness, or any somatic skills) and learn to slowly integrate new ways of moving and breathing into your mix!
