New Look Sweatshirt Class
Prerequisite: Sewing 101 – Pattern Reading and Layout & have made at least one project independently.
Every student will receive an original copy purchased by the studio. We wanted to ensure that we all followed the same pattern.
Students must bring the required supplies for class and ensure they have covered all the necessary courses before this class.
I will provide snacks for the class. Please make sure to note any dietary restrictions that we can reasonably accommodate.
Each registered student will receive an original copy of this pattern to keep and use in class. We strictly follow copyright laws and want to ensure everyone uses the same pattern and view A!
Please make sure to have taken the appropriate classes before this workshop. It will be slightly faster-paced, and we want everyone to be successful! We will also be learning a lot!
Supplies to bring:
Sewing Kit
Thread ( good selection of colors)
Stretch Needles Size 14 (since we will be using thicker knit fabric)
3 Yards of Sweatshirt: medium-weight fleece, Medium- to heavy-weight French Terry, MUST have a moderate stretch of 35%. Prewash your fabric if it has any natural content (cotton, etc.).
If you plan on using a serger, you must bring four spools of the matching color to your serger thread fabric.
You have also taken a class on the serger and have sewn one successful project on it.
Please note your chest, waist, and hip measurements for the person who will make this so we can ensure sizing.
