Safety Around Water Week - Northwest Dayton

🌊 Safety Around Water Week is back at the YMCA of Greater Dayton! 🏊‍♂️

From June 2–6, 2025, kids in grades K–6 can participate in free 30-minute water safety classes held Monday through Thursday, culminating in a family swim time on Friday. These sessions are designed for children with little or no swimming experience, providing essential water safety skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Our Branch's Classes: (Monday-Thursday)
Grades K-1st: 10:45am–11:15am
Grades 2nd–3rd: 11:25am–11:55pm
Grades 4th–6th: 12:25pm–12:55pm

Family Swim Time is on Friday, June 6th from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

📍 Classes are available at multiple YMCA locations across the Dayton area, including Springboro, Downtown Dayton, Fairborn, Minster, Huber Heights, Englewood, Eaton, Northwest Dayton, Kettering, West Carrollton, and Xenia. Each location offers age-specific class times to ensure appropriate instruction for all participants.
