Philosophy 101: Intro to The Yamas

Take your yoga practice beyond the poses and deepen your relationship with the Self through yoga philosophy.

This session with Cassidy will introduce you to the first limb of yoga, the yamas and utilize Deborah Adele’s book “The Yamas & Niyamas: Exploring Yoga’s Ethical Practice” as a guidepost for learning. Not only will there be an overview of each Yama, but Cassidy will facilitate an open discussion to help further embody each of the Yamas and how they play a role in our day to day lives.

Participants are encouraged to acquire their own copy of The Yamas & Niyamas by Deborah Adele, copies available to purchase in studio.
