Step into the courtroom and discover the power of your voice!
Join The Legal Kid Foundation for a dynamic 4-day summer camp where students take on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and jurors in a real courtroom setting. Hosted at the University of Dayton School of Law, this hands-on experience blends law, leadership, and life skills to empower the next generation of changemakers.

A 7th grader’s backpack is searched without permission by her teacher. Was it school safety—or a violation of her Fourth Amendment rights?
Campers will work in teams to explore the law, build legal arguments, question witnesses, and present their case in a full mock trial!

• Learn about constitutional rights and courtroom procedure
• Build critical thinking and public speaking skills
• Collaborate with peers, law students, and legal professionals
• Present a full mock trial before a guest judge

• Open to rising 6th–8th grade students
• Light snacks provided (please eat breakfast before arriving)
• All materials and supplies included
• Participants receive a “Junior Jurist” certificate at completion
